About the role

We’re looking for a driven Underground Production Engineer to join our rapidly expanding Coolgardie South operations, where you’ll be at the heart of production and part of an exciting growth journey. Reporting to the Senior Underground Mining Engineer, you’ll gain hands-on experience, career development opportunities, and the chance to make a real impact in a supportive, safety-focused team. Enjoy an 8:6 FIFO roster from Perth or DIDO from the Goldfields region while working on projects that are shaping the future of our underground operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Completion of drilling, charging and blasting plans aligned to the 3MS schedule.
• Develop Tele Remote plans for underground bogging activities.
• Preparation of short-term weekly schedules.
• Conduct QA/QC checks to ensure safety and productivity of drill and blast activities.
• Analyse stope performance against design (tonnes, grade, dilution, and recovery). Document variances, develop and implement design and execution improvement opportunities.
• Support daily production planning in collaboration with Shift Supervisors and Mine Foremen.
• Management of explosives including weekly magazine reconciliation and explosive order.
• When required, cover responsibilities of UG Ventilation Officer.

About you:

• Bachelor Mining Engineering Degree or equivalent.
• A minimum of 2 years’ experience in underground mining activities.
• Experience in underground hard rock drill-and-blast practices.
• Proficiency in the use of Deswik mining software (UGDB application).
• UG time completed (or close to).
• WA Manual Drivers Licence (C Class).
